GPW and Associates, Inc. (GPWA) is an Arizona based actuarial and consulting firm which began business on September 1, 1998, when the senior associates purchased the Phoenix Risk and Insurance Services Practice from their employer, Watson Wyatt & Company.

The firm began with two actuaries and has expanded to five actuaries. In addition to the actuarial staff, GPWA employs 14 other analysts and associates. GPWA has grown to its current size by being proactive and responsive to our clients’ needs.

GPWA currently has three associates who are enrolled with the Joint Board for the Enrollment of Actuaries. The Enrolled Actuaries have more than 60 years of pension consulting. In addition to the Enrolled Actuaries, GPWA associates have designations of CPAs, CFA, ASA, ACAS, FSA, FCAS, and MBA.

The relationship we establish with each client is very important to GPWA. The goal of GPWA is to provide expertise to our clients to help them with their business decisions. One of the approaches GPWA takes to meet the goal is to hire intelligent, self motivated professionals who have the same desire to perform for the client. Our employees understand that quality work performed in a timely manner is imperative to maintaining a good relationship with the client.
