Employment History: Mr. Gordon is President of GPW and Associates, Inc. (GPWA). Mr. Gordon joined Watson Wyatt in 1981 after having served as Vice President of a Phoenix based life insurance company. His forty years of experience in the consulting field follows his work in the actuarial department of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company. Prior to forming GPWA, Mr. Gordon was the team leader for the Risk and Insurance Services team in the Phoenix office.

Fields of expertise include life and health insurance policies and companies, property and casualty insurance companies involved in contractual liability insurance for service contracts and involuntary unemployment, reinsurance agreements, federal income tax returns for insurance companies, defined benefit and defined contribution plans, and special actuarial problems.

Employment History: Mr. Wanner is Vice President of GPW and Associates, Inc. (GPWA). Mr. Wanner’s over 20 years of consulting experience include 14 with the Phoenix Office of Watson Wyatt having joined the office in 1984. Prior to 1984, he worked for actuarial consulting firms in Texas and Arizona.

Fields of expertise include life and health insurance, contractual liability insurance for service contracts and involuntary unemployment, management of reinsurance companies including regulatory and rating agency filings, risk based capital, reinsurance agreements, federal taxation of insurance companies, profitability analysis of blocks of business, financial projections for both statutory and GAAP accounting and defined benefit and defined contribution plans.

Employment History: Mr. Petrowski is the Secretary/Treasurer of GPW and Associates, Inc. (GPWA). Mr. Petrowski joined Watson Wyatt in 1987. His professional career began with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. working in the audit department primarily on insurance company clients. He was subsequently employed by the American Security Insurance Group to work with producer owned reinsurance companies. He has over 18 years of technical and practical experience in the PORC and captive industries and lists as his clients a significant number of major insurance companies, national banks and automobile dealers/dealer groups.

Fields of expertise include regulatory filings, accounting, taxation and tax planning for insurance companies, reinsurance treaty review and negotiation, profitability analysis of blocks of business, financial projections for both statutory and GAAP accounting and non-insurance accounting and tax matters.

Employment History: In May 2004, Mr. Kirsits joined GPW and Associates, Inc. (GPWA), as a Senior Consultant. In December 2006 Mr. Kirsits became a Vice President of GPWA. Mr. Kirsits’ 14 years of experience includes various positions in the property and casualty insurance industry. In 1994, Mr. Kirsits began his career at VASA North Atlantic Insurance Company where his responsibilities included reserving, competitive pricing analysis and annual statement preparation. In 1997, Mr. Kirsits joined CNA Insurance Company and worked in various pricing positions within standard commercial lines. In 2001, as Assistant Vice President and Actuary, Mr. Kirsits moved into a regional actuary role.

Fields of expertise include: workers’ compensation, general liability, automobile liability, business owners, and professional liability for accountants and attorneys; Guaranteed Auto Protection (GAP) and vehicle service contracts.

Lawrence Prudhomme, C.P.A., A.C.I.

Education: Michigan State University B.S. Accounting

Employment History: Mr. Prudhomme joined GPW and Associates, Inc. in 2008 to apply his management skills in the captive insurance industry. He began his career with Arthur Andersen & Co. in Detroit and spent 8 years in the tax department specializing in small to mid-size companies. Mr. Prudhomme left to start a greeting card company with a partner, which launched a 17 year career in the graphic arts industry. During that time he successfully started two other companies and was the CEO in the buyout of a failing company, which was eventually sold to Hallmark. He has also served in management positions in an investment firm that specialized in the foreign currency trading business and a Fortune 100 company in the executive recruiting and temporary placement industry. He recently achieved the Associate in Captive Insurance designation from the International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE).

Fields of expertise include: Fields of expertise include business management, federal income taxation, Internal Revenue Service negotiations, non-controlled foreign corporations and insurance company statements.
