LAS VEGAS – Organizers of Agent Summit 2026 have announced that GPW & Associates will present “How to Select the Right Dealer Participation Structure” at the annual Reinsurance Symposium, taking place April 13–15 at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
In today’s evolving retail automotive landscape, dealer participation structures must keep pace with shifting financial priorities, regulatory complexity, and long-term growth strategies. What once aligned with a dealer’s objectives may no longer deliver the same efficiency, flexibility, or value.
This makes ongoing evaluation essential. Not just understanding the available participation models but knowing when a structure no longer fits and how to realign it effectively.
At Agent Summit 2026, this conversation takes center stage through the Reinsurance Symposium Keynote Address, where GPW & Associates will break down key structural differences, highlight critical decision factors, and provide practical insight into aligning participation models with evolving financial and strategic goals.
In the ever-changing retail automotive landscape, it is vital to ensure that a dealer’s participation structure is evaluated to provide continuing alignment with their evolving financial and strategic objectives. Presented by GPW & Associate's Brandon Wesley and Jeremy Elsberry, this session will dive into key differences between participation models and explore critical factors for consideration in choosing the best fit for your client. The session will also assist in diagnosing when the existing model is no longer the most compatible structure and how to position for the future.
Wesley and Elsberry added that "choosing a participation structure isn’t a one-time decision, nor is it a one-size-fits-all. Picking the right dealer participation structure should be an ongoing conversation that includes the dealer and considers their evolving financial and strategic objectives"
Brandon Wesley joined GPWA in 2025 as a Director of Business Development and has 16 years of experience in finance and insurance industries. Prior to joining GPWA, Brandon oversaw all reinsurance program development and operations at Toyota Financial Services, primarily servicing 831b captives and non-controlled foreign corporations. Brandon holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
Jeremy Elsberry, CPA, is Director - Business Development. He began his career in public accounting focused on personal and corporate taxation. In 2012, Jeremy joined GPWA, bringing with him years of management experience. He has spent more than 11 years working with F&I reinsurance and captive insurance programs. Jeremy’s fields of expertise include insurance company accounting, captive insurance management, formation, regulatory filings, and taxation and tax planning for insurance companies.
